No one reports as rigorously and thoroughly as you do Jasper, very well-written as usual!

How has the West not only allowed this illegal behaviour but also enabled it all these years while still painting the Palestinians as the terrorist? It's all so heartbreaking

Thank you for another chilling report. Insidious, is the word that comes up. And then, how hasbara has so successfully brainwashed so many to believe in a 'softer' narrative. Already, the 'Oslo' disaster is still being portrayed as a moment of hope, which it never was, really. And the convenient assassination of Rabin fits in so well, for the 'progressive' z!n!sts to point to, and suggest that there is some form of goodwill.

Last night I watched the hasbara documentary 'The blessing and the curse', which once again paints that picture of settlers being good, reasonable, non-violent people, who want the best for the land, etc. etc. I was baffled how this could be made in 2024/25, in the midst of all the West Bank settler violence, and with the Gaza genocide raging next door. It is exasperating to see how that hasbara machine is still successfully feeding the z!n!sts with that insidious perspective, that only seems to serve as justification for oppression, racism, apartheid and lots of injustice and violence.

May Peace, Justice and Freedom return to Palestine and the Palestinian people!

I’ve never seen that film and I’m not sure I could without losing my mind

I definitely do not recommend, you can already guess what it will show, considering your experience and insight. The reason I did watch it, is because of the algorithmic bubble thing, where I some times feel that my information is too one-sided. But this is a 90min doc, way to long, and way too predictable. I forced myself to watch it all, just to be sure I didn't miss the Palestinian perspective, if it appeared later. But then it didn't... So basically, watching 20min would have been enough, enough to make one's blood boil already.

No sane person can watch these violent, vigilante ("civilian") settlers and think that they're not terrorizing the peace around. They commit acts of aggression, theft (of literal homes), to a name a few... with fully IDF backing obviously.

Outside of the few who say Annexation is a non-starter, meetings about Palestinians without Palestinians, and the Palestinian statehood (no one seems keen on it), what/who can stop this?!

Nothing we do will stop whatever is about to happen, but in terms of stopping the gradual ethnic cleansing, I think BDS and pressuring US politicians are our two best bets.
